Hotel Nordic

TRADITION meets modern in El Tarter’s Hotel Nordic, built as recently as 2002 but in a mixture of wood and stone that gives a long-established feel. Many of its 120 en-suite guestrooms have wooden balconies with marvelous mountain views. For skiers it couldn’t be more convenient, a mere 50 meters from the first lift. And snow permitting it’s possible to ski back to the door. A spectacular wood-lined main lobby rises to the full height of the six-floor building, overlooked by wooden galleries which lead to the rooms. The Nordic has a health spa and indoor swimming pool, with pool bar and sun loungers. A sauna, steam room, solarium and massage service are available in the pool area. There is also a gym/fitness room, and games room with billiards for après-ski location and the hotel has its own nightclub.
